Basic rules for Safety
1.
No chewing
of gum or sweets of any sort whilst
training or playing as this could lead
to choking with possible serious
effects.
2. No
wearing of jewellery while taking part
in training or games as this could
injure yourself or an opponent in the
even of a collision or fall.
3. Only
safety glasses approved by the Scottish
Football Association can be worn during
training or games.
4. Shin
guards must be worn at all times during
training or games.
Affiliation Fees
Affiliation
fees will be set for each team by the
officials of that team, taking into
consideration the cost of Affiliations
to parent bodies, insurance, cost of
training facilities, pitch fees, strips,
footballs and other necessary equipment
such as First Aid kits etc.
The fees
should be paid in accordance with the
instructions of the team officials.
Grievance Procedures
The Club has
in place a child protection policy using
the format set out by Scottish Youth
Football Association and the Local
Authority.
The Child
Protection Officer for Broughty United
Y.F.C. is George Ferguson, Club
President.
1. If
you find you have a problem with other
club members, please speak to your team
manager in the first instance to see if
the problem can be resolved. This may
involve bullying, name calling etc.
2. If
this does not work you should put your
grievance in writing to the Club
President. His name will be in the list
of Office bearers.
3. Should
you find you have a problem with a
coach, please put your grievance in
writing, addressed to the President of
the club. You will be notified of the
outcome in writing within four weeks.
4. Any
concerns with the training of a player
or team should be taken up with the team
manager or senior club official.

here to help where ever possible
